From January 1, 2025, Turkish citizens must have an integration diploma to apply for a permanent residence permit in the Netherlands. As of 1 December 2022, Turks will need an airport transit visa when transferring at Schiphol
For Turkish travelers who want to transfer at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, the so-called transit passengers, different rules will apply from 1 December 2022. From that date, Turks who want to transfer to another flight at Schiphol must first apply for an airport transit visa.
