Mandatory documents for applying for a Schengen visa

The most important condition for a successful visa application is collecting and supplying the right documents. If you provide the supporting documents completely and correctly, the chance that a visa application will be approved is on average even 95 percent.

When applying for a Schengen visa, keep the following in mind:

An application without the complete set of documents may lead to a rejection of your visa application.
Competent authorities may request additional supporting documents.
In case of a rejection, the paid visa amount (fees) will not be reimbursed.
