An application for one Schengen visa can only be processed if the passport meets the following requirements:
Passport requirements for a Schengen visa
- The passport must not be older than 10 years at the time of submitting the visa application.
- In order for the application to be processed, there must be at least two blank pages in the passport.
- The passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the date on which you want to leave the Schengen area.
In addition, the visa applicant must provide:
- A copy of the holder page, previously issued visas and a copy of all incoming and outgoing stamps.
- A copy of the holder page of all previous passports with associated visas.
