Proof of compulsory medical travel insurance according to EU conditions
Since June 1, 2004, it is mandatory in all Schengen countries to take out travel medical insurance before applying for a Schengen visa.
The visa applicant must have a medical travel insurance to cover any expenses for transport home for medical reasons (repatriation), urgent medical care and emergency hospital treatment. The insurance to be taken out must meet the following conditions:
