As of 1 June 2021, there will no longer be a flight ban in the Netherlands for persons from high-risk countries. This ban has been replaced by new quarantine rules.
IND: Temporary relaxation of MVV requirement due to COVID-19
The IND is introducing a relaxation with regard to collecting the MVV. Under certain conditions, collecting the MVV will be waived.
Flight ban South Africa, South American countries extended until May 1
Due to the corona pandemic, the ban on passenger flights from South Africa and fifteen countries from South America to the Netherlands has been extended until May 1, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management reports.

Aircraft and ships from the United Kingdom are allowed to land and moor in the Netherlands again from today.
Flight ban for UK, South Africa and South America extended until April 1
The flight ban for the United Kingdom, South Africa and countries in Central and South America has been extended until April 1. Outgoing Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Infrastructure and Water Management) announced this on Wednesday evening.
Flight ban for high-risk countries extended until March 4
To reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus mutations, flight bans were announced on January 23 for passenger flights from a number of countries. These bans will in any case be extended until Thursday 4 March.
