From 22 December 2021, new rules will apply to travelers from outside the EU/Schengen who depart for the Netherlands. They must always have a negative test result with them.
Quarantine obligation for vaccinated travelers from risk countries lapses
For vaccinated travelers from very high-risk areas who want to travel to the Netherlands, the quarantine obligation will expire on 22 September. The mask obligation at Dutch airports will remain in effect.
Flight ban for high-risk countries extended until March 4
To reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus mutations, flight bans were announced on January 23 for passenger flights from a number of countries. These bans will in any case be extended until Thursday 4 March.

To prevent people who travel back to the Netherlands from abroad from bringing the virus with them, the government is sticking to the obligation of a negative PCR test result for travelers from high-risk areas.
