From 21 September, a person from a country with an entry ban who makes a trip that demonstrably contributes to the Dutch economy and society may travel to the Netherlands under certain conditions.

The Council of Ministers has decided to lift the entry ban for foreign business travelers and top athletes. The relaxation for business people will take effect on September 21 and the relaxation for top athletes will take effect on September 14.
