Due to the corona crisis, travel restrictions or sometimes an entry ban apply to travelers from outside the EU who want to travel to the Netherlands. However, there are also exceptions such as for essential travel and long-distance relationships.
Unmarried foreign partners are allowed to return to the Netherlands
As of today, foreign partners who have a relationship with a Dutch national may return to our country for a consecutive period of up to 90 days. The entry ban imposed in connection with corona no longer applies to this group.
The Netherlands relaxes the entry ban for foreign partners
From 27 July, foreign partners or lovers (not married or no cohabitation contract) may travel to the Netherlands again under certain conditions.
